Clive Sanders - Poet in Residence

Clive is a Military Poet who served most of his working life in the British Army. He has travelled the world extensively and visited places of conflict.

He has been writing poems based on his military experiences for more than 15 years and has a considerable following of readers.

He has to date run Poetry Workshops for many thousands of children in schools all over England and Wales and is very proud of the amazing poems written during these events.


Nik Perring - Author, Editor, Teacher

Nik is an editor, teacher of writing, and mentor. His stories have been published in many fine places in the UK and abroad, in print and online. They’ve been used on High School distance learning courses in the US, performed by actors, printed on flyers, and recorded for radio.

Since 2005, Nik has taught thousands of people, of all ages, how to write. He’s worked extensively in schools, libraries, universities, and in the community.

He’s worked with Unicef, and the BBC. He has spoken on panels at loads of events and festivals, guest edited for literary magazines and judged writing competitions for all ages.


 

Emily Hopkins - Artist & Arts Educator

Emily is an artist and arts educator based in London. She has been working in education since 2016 and delivered workshops for the National Gallery, October Gallery, Lauderdale House, Dulwich Picture Gallery, Bow Arts Trust and more.

Nature is an inspiration for Emily and a lot of her practice, both personal and educational, is based around natural materials and the natural world.
